At the beginning of this year, 2021, the Junior Law School project was presented at the Madrid Bar Association, promoted by the private schools association CICAE and the CINNEAD Foundation, linked to the Brains educational group.
The Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, together with the American University of Madrid, CIS University, will deliver the program on Human Rights and the Spanish Constitution, incorporating the Speak Truth to Power method as its training methodology.
This program offers students in the final years of Secondary and Upper Secondary education specific academic guidance in the legal field. Also taking part are the Antonio de Nebrija University, ISDE, and the Camilo José Cela University. Hundreds of students, from many different schools across Spain, have joined this project, which will give them a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the world of professional legal practice.
The Robert F. Kennedy Spain Foundation wished to collaborate as a specialized trainer in the area of Human Rights, thereby offering pre-university students an online program, with multiple teaching tools, that fosters a closer understanding of the future professional practice of law. The presentation was attended by His Excellency José M.ª Alonso Puig, Dean of the Madrid Bar Association; Jorge Masía, Counselor at Pérez Llorca Abogados; María Hita, president of CINNED; and Enrique Maestu, president of the CICAE educational quality circle.
