Kerry Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, made her first institutional visit to Galicia as part of the collaboration between RFK Human Rights Spain, the Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa (UIE) and Afundación (the social welfare arm of ABANCA).

The day began at the UIE's institutional headquarters in Santiago de Compostela, with an official reception, the signing of the book of honor and a working meeting between the three organizations to define the next steps of a joint agenda focused on human rights, tolerance and democratic values.

Dialogue with young people was a priority during the visit: Kerry Kennedy held a discussion with UIE students, reinforcing a key idea: education as a genuine driver of opportunity and access to rights.

The program also included a stop in A Coruña, with a visit to Afundación's headquarters and a meeting with a delegation from Special Olympics Galicia, broadening the focus toward inclusion and community work.
