The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation in Spain comes to Asturias to promote human rights education within the Principality.

The Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation in Spain comes to Asturias to promote human rights education within the Principality. The president of the RFK Human Rights Spain Foundation, María Díaz de la Cebosa, together with the director in Spain, Anthony Verrecchio, and other collaborators, visited the Principality of Asturias during these first days of April to present the projects of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation.
Following the meetings held, the Principality's Department of Education has decided to implement a pilot project in five schools in the region to develop students' human rights education, in accordance with the Master Plan for Asturian Development Cooperation and in line with the work carried out by the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation in our country.
Likewise, together with Begoña Fernández Costales, President of the Federation of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs of Asturias (FEDA), and the Asturian businessman Álvaro Argüelles Armada, they presented the RFK Spain Foundation to the Gijón City Council, to major companies in the Principality such as TSK and Dupont, to the Caja Rural de Asturias, and to the management of Real Sporting de Gijón.
In the case of the sports club, the aim was to explore opportunities for collaboration to promote values of inclusion and respect for human rights in the sporting world.
