The Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa (UIE) held a solemn ceremony in Santiago de Compostela in which Kerry Kennedy was invested as an honorary professor of the Faculty of Business Administration and Law. During the ceremony she received the diploma and the academic medal and delivered a keynote lecture.

In the laudatio, the UIE highlighted the strength of Robert F. Kennedy's legacy and Kerry Kennedy's career as one of the most consistent international voices in the defense of civil rights, recalling that democratic values endure when they become everyday practice.

Following the appointment, Kerry Kennedy stressed a message aimed especially at young people: stay informed, read critically, engage in dialogue, get organized and vote, in a global context marked by disinformation, the rise of anti-democratic movements and new technological and social challenges.

This recognition and the visit are part of the collaboration framework between RFK Human Rights Spain, the UIE and Afundación, aimed at promoting educational programs that bring human rights culture to new generations inside and outside the classroom.
