Pablo Heras-Casado Conducts the Barenboim-Said Foundation Orchestra

The Seville concert was a remarkable success, thanks to the dedication of the musicians and the undeniable passion brought by Maestro Heras Casado and the violinist Amaury Coeytaux, who stepped in for Miguel Colom. The concert tour that was to continue in Córdoba and Granada had to be canceled for reasons related to COVID-19. The Robert F. Kennedy Spain Foundation's participation in this project is a further sign of its commitment to building a more just world, one in which human rights can be present in the educational programs of young people everywhere.

Pablo Heras-Casado, the great international conductor, made a strong impression with his charisma and his remarkable ability to connect the audience directly with the musicians on stage. The entire Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville responded with emotion and warm ovations for the orchestra, making the concert a resounding success.

We would like to thank everyone who made this initiative possible: the entire team at the Barenboim-Said Foundation, especially Muriel Páez, Ana Juliá, Raquel Gilabert, Juan Fernández Pantoja, and Miguel Colom, and Amaury Coeytaux for stepping in at the last moment and delivering an incredible performance alongside Maestro Pablo Heras Casado.
