RFK Italy Gala Awards

On November 20, the annual Gala of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation Italy was held in Italy. The event, called "Leave design," was a great success, both in attendance and in fundraising.

During the evening, an auction was held—led by the director of Christie's—of thirty-five design pieces that had previously been exhibited at the Palazzo Clerici.

The event was attended by Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Honorary President of Robert F. Kennedy Italy.

During the event, the organization's results and future commitments were presented. RFK Italy focuses on the field of human rights education, with a program for the labor-market inclusion of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and people in vulnerable situations.

The funds raised during the evening will go to the Foundation's three flagship projects: the civic and human rights education program "Civic Attiva," present in Italian schools and universities; the "Bobby's Dream" project, for the labor-market inclusion of migrants, refugees, and others; and the "Comunidad" project, which supports the Tuscan and Lombard communities that were especially hard hit by the pandemic.
