RFK Spain and the U.S. Ambassador Host a Reception for Kerry Kennedy

On the occasion of the visit to Madrid of Kerry Kennedy, President of RFK Human Rights, Her Excellency Julissa Reynoso, U.S. Ambassador to Spain, hosted a reception in her honor, held at the Club Matador in Madrid.

The event was attended by María Díaz de la Cebosa, President of the RFK Foundation in Spain, as well as by the members of the Board of Trustees.

In her remarks to the attendees, the U.S. Ambassador highlighted the enormous value of the tireless work of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation in its struggle for human rights, and reiterated her willingness to make the embassy available as a venue for any events organized on behalf of the Foundation.

The event brought together numerous guests from different sectors of our country's business community, along with various media outlets.

We were also joined by representatives of the Department of Education of the Community of Madrid, with whom RFK carries out the human rights training programs it promotes in Spain.

Kerry Kennedy expressed the great affection she feels for our country and the support she receives from various institutions; nevertheless, she stressed the need to keep working to ensure that human rights education reaches every area of society.

She expressly acknowledged the tireless work carried out by the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation in Spain, and especially the efforts of its president, María Díaz de la Cebosa, in raising awareness among young people to bring about changes that help build a better world.
