RFK Human Rights Spain joins Bilbao City Council to launch the BBH – RFK Award

Today we take a very special step: RFK Human Rights Spain joins Bilbao City Council within Bilbao Balioen Hiria (City of Values) to launch the BBH – RFK Award, an audiovisual contest aimed at young people who believe in human rights and want to make them visible from Bilbao.

The initiative invites participants to tell, through video, stories that inspire, question and mobilize: real or creative pieces, young voices and personal perspectives capable of connecting Bilbao's Charter of Values with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The contest is open to young people between 14 and 30 years old, who may take part individually or as a team, with a maximum of five people per group. Entries may be submitted in Basque or Spanish, with a running time of between 3 and 6 minutes.

The submission period will remain open from February 17 to March 20.

One prize will be awarded per category. In the 14-to-17 category, the prize consists of a workshop in Madrid with RFK Spain and an international experience on the Camino de Santiago. In the 18-to-30 category, the prize is a workshop in Madrid with RFK Spain and a trip to Italy linked to human rights.

With this new project, RFK Human Rights Spain reinforces its commitment to young people, education and active participation, betting on creative formats that allow new generations to express their vision of the present and the future from a human rights perspective.

Sometimes it all begins like this: with an idea, a camera and something important to say.
