Speaker Series I

Due to the current situation, we want to offer even more online resources to the teachers who work with us and to their students, and today we are starting a series of conversations with world leaders in which students will interact directly with people deeply involved in the defense of human rights.

Today's first event will be with the former president of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga (the first woman to hold the position in her country, from 1999 to 2007). She is also president of the Club de Madrid.

She will speak with us from the UN General Assembly, and the conversation will focus on the importance of international cooperation.
