We did it together.

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, San Lorenzo Beach became an open classroom: more than 200 participants from schools and social organizations learned and had fun through soccer.

Our thanks to the Real Sporting Marea Rojiblanca Foundation and to Real Sporting de Gijón for driving the event with us; to Hogares San José, Maspaz and the Red Cross for their participation and support; to the teachers and management teams for their trust; to the volunteers for their tireless energy; and to the families for joining us.

The matches and activities, inspired by Malala Yousafzai and Bill Russell, underscored why human rights matter on and off the field. The closing, with the Mandela and Dalilah Muhammad teams and with rules designed to ensure everyone's participation, left a clear message: when we play as equals, we win as a community.

It was an extraordinary day, with extraordinary people. We are excited to begin this journey with all of you.
